This Spring semester 2021 will start on a fully online teaching mode basis. In the best case scenario, we may hope to switch to an hybrid teaching mode (partially remotely, partially on campus) during the semester as far as the sanitary situation improves. All students will be informed in due time.
The Autumn semester 2021 will also be as far as possible in an hybrid teaching mode (online and face-to-face) or face-to-face.
Exchange students may choose HEC courses according to the following conditions:
If you are in your 2nd or 3rd year of the Bachelor or Licence program, you may take courses in the 2nd or 3rd year of the Bachelor program (Economics and/or Management), except the courses Business English, English for Studying Economics, the Individual Project and internships.
If you are in your 1st or 2nd year of a Master program, 4th or 5th year of an Undergraduate program (with a minimum of 180 ECTS credits in Management and/or Economics) you may either take courses in the 1st or 2nd year of the Master program or possibly in the 2nd or 3rd year of the Bachelor program (with above exceptions). The courses in the Master's in Accounting, Control & Finance (MScCCF) are not open to you.

N.B. The Master of Accounting, Control and Finance is not available for exchange students.
Bachelor and Master exchange students are authorised to take non-HEC courses. The courses/exams registration will be made directly at the faculty/school concerned by the student. Please ask them to provide you with an attestation/transcript of records.
We draw your attention to the fact that the exam dates of non-HEC courses are not set by HEC Lausanne. Therefore, the risk of an overlapping of exam dates between HEC Lausanne and non-HEC courses exists. HEC exam dates cannot be modified under any circumstances.
Most courses must to be taken at HEC Lausanne, the main faculty where the student is enrolled.
A limited number of courses at EPFL (Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne) are open to students on request before or at the beginning of the semester at the department concerned. You should contact the departement concerned directly.
Important! Pay attention to the registration deadlines!
